Diabetic Dabs, Inc. (DDI) aims to comply with any current and future General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and we welcome and appreciate our visitors from across the pond.

We do not sell, rent or make any website visitor information public. All visitor information collected by us is used for the purposes of providing the best possible user experience, sharing information with our users, or providing user requested services.

Our website uses tracking cookies for the purposes of understanding how our users interact with our site.  We use Google Analytics to track the number of visitors to our site and to understand how our visitors find us. No personally identifiable information is provided to us via Google Analytics. We look forward to having our site visitors interact with us via our blog, and wish to notify you that the information you provide to us during the comment process (name, email address, content of your comment) will be stored in this website’s database, which is hosted by Dreamhost, LLC in the United States of America. This information will be stored in our site’s database until we decide to remove the comment or post, or upon your request. You may submit a deletion request via the contact page on this website. Please be sure to include the specific information you would like deleted and the correct email address used at the time the comment was made. If you are under the age of 16, and an EU resident, you must obtain parental permission before sharing your comment.

Our website is built on the WordPress.org  platform and as such the operation and functionality of the site, and the site’s website security, requires the temporary storage of your IP address, the browser you are using, and the time and date of your visit. No personally identifiable information is linked to these data. This tracking is used to protect your personal information stored on the site’s database by comparing and blocking know threats from certain IP addresses or regions.  At times the general areas our visitors originate from may be used for general marketing purposes.

If you choose to contact us via any of the methods provided on this site, your data may be stored in our gmail mailbox and/or Skydrive, Dreamhost’s web mail server,  or entered into a contacts database through Constant Contact or Mailchimp, for the purpose of providing the information or services you request from us, and/or for the purpose of marketing our products.  You may opt out of email notifications from us by unsubscribing via email, or notifying us via one of the provided avenues on our contact page. We do, however, request that you do not initiate a deletion via any of our social media channels as it is impossible to generate a record of this request in such a format.

Constant Contact and Mail Chimp are considered third party vendors and you may view their privacy policies if further information is desired. Both vendors address their respective GDPR preparedness activities on their websites and plan to be compliant with the GDPR guidelines by the day of enforcement May, 25th 2018.

Despite the best protection measures, If perchance a breach in personally identifiable information should occur, we will notify all impacted parties within 72 hours of our awareness of the situation.
